Golden Baked Apple Pudding Recipe

  • 3small Cooking Apples
  • 1/3 Cup Dried Apricots
  • 1tsp Cinnamon powder
  • 2tbsp Raisins
  • 5Slices Whole-Wheat Bread
  • 100g Cottage Cheese
  • 4 tbsp Brown Sugar BlendSplenda┬«
  • 1Dash Brandy
  • 250ml 1% low-fat milk
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 deg F.
  2. Peel and core the apples. Chop into small pieces.
  3. Soak the dried apricots in the brandy for 10 minutes.
  4. Put apples in a bowl and mix with the cinnamon powder, nuts and raisins.
  5. Cut off the crust from the bread slices. Cut into 1 inch pieces and add to the apples.
  6. Crumble the cottage cheese and add to the apples.
  7. Add 3 tablespoons of Splenda® Brown Sugar Blend to the mix and stir in the milk. Mix well together, until well combined.
  8. Pour the apple-bread pudding mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle the remaining Splenda® Brown Sugar Blend on top.
  9. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot.
